Since its founding in 2008, №19 has established itself as a leading entertainment talent management agency in The Netherlands. To do justice to the agency's increasingly strong international links, we redesigned its visual identity.

№19 guides the careers of an elite roster of actors, writers and directors across all media platforms, including film, television, music and theater. Their clients include Game of Thrones-actress Carice van Houten, as well as popular Dutch actors like Benja Bruijning, Sallie Harmsen, Jeroen Spitzenberger, Maarten Heijmans, Noortje Herlaar, Nasrdin Dchar, Halina Reijn and Stefan de Walle.

The new identity included an amendment to the name, from the Dutch nummer19 to №19, which has more international appeal and is understood across borders. It also shortens the name, which fits an agency that discretely represents their talents behind the scenes.

The old and the new logo side by side.

The new logo had to do justice to the name of the agency and was eventually inspired by traditional 1930s Dutch house number signage. A short-form version of the logo was designed for areas with limited space, such as social media profile images and stickers.

The 1 from the logo was taken as basis for the frames on print and digital materials, literally reflecting the core mission of the agency by putting a focus frame around the artists they represent.
